During my Departures days, I traveled by air, land, and lake to profile Argentine chef Francis Mallmann on his private island in Patagonia, interviewed chef Daniel Humm when he first turned Eleven Madison Park plant-based, fashion designer Gabriela Hearst during her time as the creative director of Chloe, nightlife legend and hotelier Ian Schrager in a nostalgic return to Studio 54, architect Bjarke Ingels on saving Manhattan from flooding, and much more.
I reported on the flourishing contemporary art scene in Seoul, spent a week in Copenhagen with the Noma team, and explored the jungles and beaches of Belize guided by the philosophies Francis Ford Coppola sent me. I commissioned and shaped stories — editing burgeoning writers to best-selling authors from around the world, created and ran columns across all facets of culture.
Below are the print issues I loved bringing to life. For specific clips, please reach out (while I slowly work to upload everything onto this site).
My freelance writing explores various facets of culture. I am particularly focused on personal essays and human interest stories. Some recent pieces below.

For creative projects, I most recently consulted on a book collection, working with Chef Daniel Humm on a series: The Plant-Based Chapter. The books explore the intimate stories behind his legendary restaurant Eleven Madison Park and its trailblazing transformation to plant-based — the first and only in the world to have been awarded three Michelin stars. Collection coming soon.
